About:  Palms Australia has been sending volunteers to developing countries for 50+years. Palms global volunteers are vehicles for development and social change through mentoring and exchange of skills.
Countless studies and our own experience over 50 years confirm, that when communities are supported and empowered through building capacity and skills, the whole society benefits. Families are healthier, more children go to school, agricultural productivity improves and earnings increase. In essence, communities become more resilient.
The requests we receive from overseas communities are far greater than what we can currently fill. Palms Australia is seeking volunteers willing to participate in an authentic cross-cultural mission in countries across Asia, Africa or the Pacific. Positions exist in education, health, administration, agriculture/farming, trades and other skilled areas.
